As a Commercial / Corporate Interiors Superintendent, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of interior construction projects from mobilisation through turnover, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day field operations across commercial interior fit-out and renovation projects.
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and on‑site personnel.
- Working closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Overseeing construction activities within occupied buildings while minimising disruption to tenants.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Managing site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
- Identifying and resolving field issues, design conflicts, and schedule impacts.
- Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, property management teams, and ownership representatives throughout project delivery.
- 4–10+ years of commercial construction experience, with a strong focus on corporate interiors and tenant fit‑out projects.
- Proven experience delivering Class A office interiors, workplace renovations, and tenant improvement projects in NYC.
- Experience working within occupied commercial buildings and fast‑paced construction environments.
- Strong understanding of NYC construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- OSHA certification and experience using construction management software are preferred.
