Overview
Construction Project Manager - Commercial Interiors — New York, NY (Onsite). Salary: $145,000 - $175,000. US Citizens and Green Card Holders Only.

Our client, a leading General Contractor and Construction Manager in New York City, is urgently seeking a Construction Project Manager - Commercial Interiors to lead high-profile commercial interiors projects across corporate, retail, academic, and healthcare sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and a deeply rooted presence in the NYC market, this firm offers the chance to own projects from precon to closeout while growing your career in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit-outs on time, on budget, and built to the highest standard.
- Build and manage project schedules using MS Project; anticipate challenges and drive proactive solutions.
- Oversee subcontractor scope reviews, contract execution, and day-to-day coordination.
- Manage all documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and Procore logs.
- Ensure full site compliance with safety protocols and local regulations.
- Communicate directly with ownership, architects, and consultants to manage expectations and provide updates.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site, maintain progress tracking, and deliver exceptional closeouts.
- Educational and experience requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of experience managing NYC commercial interiors projects. - Proficiency in MS Project and Procore (required).
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of NYC building codes, permitting, and compliance.
