Licensed Site Safety Coordinator

Overview

Licensed Site Safety Coordinator position located in Brooklyn, NY. Pay range: $60-$70/hour. This role supports a long-term NY SCA school construction project in Brooklyn. An active DOB Site Safety Coordinator license is required, as the individual will be listed on the project permit. This is a full-time position with an anticipated project duration of approximately 2 years.

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and practices.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including daily reports, incident logs, permits, and corrective action records.
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, and field staff to promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work activities are performed safely.

• Active NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator (SSC) License (required).
• Experience supporting building construction projects, preferably schools, public works, or commercial construction.
