Location: New York

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a construction and electrical services client. This individual will serve as a technical leader and project owner for complex electrical projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of field expertise, project management experience, and customer-facing leadership skills. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating vendors and subcontractors, overseeing project documentation and submittals, ensuring quality and compliance standards, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on project manager who enjoys driving successful project outcomes while leading teams and collaborating across multiple functions.

Must-Haves:

  • 3–7 years of construction or electrical industry experience
  • Technical project management experience within electrical construction projects
  • Experience creating and managing project schedules
  • Experience documenting and managing critical path items, project dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Ability to review construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with submittals, RFIs, and quality/compliance tracking
  • Vendor and subcontractor management experience
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required)

Day‑to‑Day:

  • Serve as the technical lead on large‑scale electrical construction projects
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to plan, scope, and execute projects
  • Create, maintain, and manage project schedules
  • Coordinate RFP and RFI responses
  • Track project quality, compliance, issues, risks, and escalations
  • Manage customer communications and provide project updates
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Ensure teams have current scope documents, schedules, and necessary tools
  • Review project drawings and specifications to identify critical path and long‑lead items
  • Develop and maintain project submittal logs and secure approvals
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, provide guidance, and support project execution
  • Manage staff priorities, schedules, and project deliverables
