Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential renovation projects from pre-construction through completion. This role works closely with our design team and serves as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and according to design intent.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from kickoff through final completion.
• Collaborate closely with designers throughout the design and construction process.
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and safety.
• Manage change orders, project documentation, and client communications.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates.
• Oversee punch lists, project closeout, and final walkthroughs.
• Coordinate DOB filings, permits, inspections, and approvals.
• Manage co-op and condo alteration processes, board approvals, and building requirements.
• Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in residential construction or design-build.
• Experience managing high-end residential renovations in NYC.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with DOB processes, permits, and co-op/condo renovations.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Valid driver's license.
