Ancora Engineering + Architecture is an engineering firm based in the New York City metropolitan area specializing in design and consulting services for the construction industry. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an ICC Special Inspector at Ancora Engineering + Architecture. The Special Inspector will be responsible for:
- Performing inspections, testing, and evaluations on construction projects
- Ensuring compliance with NYC building codes, regulations, and project specifications
- Conducting site visits and documenting findings
- Reviewing construction plans and technical documents
- Preparing clear, accurate inspection reports
- Communicating effectively with project stakeholders in a timely manner
Qualifications
- ICC Special Inspector certifications required
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations
- Experience performing inspections and testing on construction projects
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment
- Relevant experience in the NYC construction industry preferred
