Interior Superintendent - Commercial Interiors

A well-established, mid-sized general contractor is looking to hire an Interior Superintendent to oversee fast-paced commercial interior projects across New York City.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–10 years of field experience who has worked within the mid-sized general contracting market and is looking for a clear long-term path into a General Superintendent role.

• Manage day-to-day site operations on interior construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field teams
• Maintain project schedules, quality standards, and site safety
• Lead site meetings and communicate clearly with project managers and clients
• Oversee punch lists, closeout, and project delivery
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard

• 3–10 years of superintendent or assistant superintendent experience
• Experience working for a general contractor
• Strong understanding of interior construction and trades coordination
• Exposure to fast-paced projects with 12–16 week schedules
• Experience on projects ranging from $1M–$12M
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable working in the mid-sized construction market
