Construction Estimator - New York City
We are seeking a Construction Estimator with 3+ years of estimating experience working for a leading Construction Management (CM) or General Contractor
. The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction cost estimates for commercial projects.
- Prepare construction cost estimates throughout all project phases.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
- Evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals and assist with bid preparation.
- Review change orders and support project budgeting and cost control.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- 3+ years of construction estimating experience with a reputable CM or General Contractor.
- Experience estimating commercial construction projects (interiors, core & shell, MEP/infrastructure preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, subcontractor pricing, and procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
