Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

Harrison & Burrowes Bridge Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee bridge, heavy civil, and transportation construction projects throughout New York.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of assigned projects. This role works closely with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead project planning efforts, including procurement, subcontractor coordination, and project startup activities.
• Manage project costs and proactively identify opportunities to improve project performance and profitability.
• Collaborate with Superintendents to develop work plans, resource allocations, and short-term schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, owners, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage change orders, payment applications, submittals, RFIs, and contract documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance and conduct regular cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Review and approve project-related invoices, purchase orders, and cost coding.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, D/M/WBE participation goals, EEO requirements, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
• Participate in project closeout activities, including final billing, documentation, lessons learned, and owner turnover.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related role within the heavy civil, bridge, highway, or transportation construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• Must have active driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with machinery, vehicles and other equipment.
• Ability to review and interpret governmental regulations.
• Must be self-starter, able to create and manage a schedule without being instructed.
• Must be able to interact and develop a positive culture and relationship with field employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed

• Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 – $150,000
  , commensurate with experience.
