Assistant Construction Project Manager, Residential Solar
About the role:
Harvest Power is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to drive completion of our residential rooftop PV solar portfolio. In this role, you will work with the Director of Operations and Senior Residential Project Manager to facilitate timely completion of 600+ residential solar projects per year.
About the company:Harvest Power is a nationally recognized leader in the solar energy industry, providing full service residential and commercial solar energy project management including design, engineering, and installation of solar energy systems.
Full on the job training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:- Heads up the construction project management function across our portfolio of residential solar installations
- Reviews sales contracts and produces a Scope of Work
- Reconciles site visits and installation photos
- Coordinates Change Order pricing with assistance from Senior Project Manager
- Generates Bill of Materials
- Produces daily labor allocation
- Produces daily project folders for site auditors and installers
- Coordinates submission of project data to engineer
- Coordinates As built plans with engineer as needed
- Conducts Quality Assurance via project photos on all installations
- Ensures project photos are accurately cataloged
- Assists with procurement of materials as needed from suppliers
- Schedules all site visits, installations & inspections
- Obtains electrical inspection and final electrical notification
- Submits and obtains utility interconnection applications and approvals
- Configures rooftop systems remotely via equipment portals
- Provides project updates to customer, management, and sales team
- Professional with very strong work ethic
- Effective communicator
- Strong references
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Strong written communication skills (proper grammar & email etiquette)
- Professional organizational competencies (detail-oriented, prepared, punctual)
- College Degree preferred, but not required
- Construction PMP or certification preferred, but not required
- Construction Management experience needed or degree in construction management.
- Can be a student working towards Construction management degree provided you can work Full-Time
- Salary $52-75k depending on experience
- Annual Bonus structure

Pay: $52,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
