Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction Project Management to join our team for a dynamic and educational experience. The intern will work closely with project the project managers and subcontractors to gain real-world exposure to the lifecycle of a construction project. This is a great opportunity for students who recently earned a degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related disciplines who are eager to build foundational knowledge and skills in the field.

There will also be an opportunity to join the team on completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the project team, the candidate will:

Assist in coordinating communication with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
Participate in jobsite walkthroughs and weekly progress meetings.
Support the preparation and distribution of project schedules, RFI logs, and submittals.
Learn how to track project documentation, including revised drawings and approvals.
Assist with bid solicitation, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and procurement tasks.
Shadow team members in the use of Pro Core, Blue Beam, and other project management tools.
Gain insight into maintaining jobsite safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.
Participate in Estimatescost Take - offs

Learning Objectives

By the end of the 6 months, the candidate will:

Understand the phases of a commercial or residential construction project.
Learn how to manage documentation and communication across multiple stakeholders.
Become familiar with construction management software and budgeting tools.
Gain insight into the roles of project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field - Graduation - 2025 or Earlier
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry.
Willingness to visit job sites and learn in both office and field environments.
Ability to lift up to 25-35 lbs and safely navigate an active construction site (with supervision).
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or construction software a plus, but not required.

Annual Salary Range:
Dependent on work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
