Location: New York
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Construction Project Manager to support communications and security infrastructure projects. This position is based in Brooklyn and requires travel to various project locations, including communication rooms, subway stations, construction sites, and other transit infrastructure facilities.
- Schedule and lead site surveys of communication rooms, subway stations, and transit infrastructure.
- Provide field support to the Construction Manager’s office during construction.
- Assist with preparing engineering force accounts and budgets for all project phases.
- Coordinate Requests for Proposals, bid packages, and procurement activities for communications, systems, and security contracts.
- Attend design and construction review meetings on behalf of project teams.
- Prepare daily reports, punch lists, inspection documentation, and other project records.
- Conduct pre-final and final inspections with contractors and trade groups.
- Coordinate with contractors, operations teams, engineering personnel, internal departments, and other stakeholders.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by project leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of full-time experience supervising employees performing project management work involving the planning, administration, management, coordination, or expediting of engineering, architectural, landscape architectural, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of communications and networking systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage project information efficiently and prepare clear reports.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of capital project construction procedures is preferred.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Ability to travel to various project and field locations.
- Must complete a one-day track safety training course before performing work on or near the wayside. Training will be provided.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required before performing work on or near the wayside.

Pay Range: $48.00- $53.00per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
