Senior Civil Project Manager Long Island | Commercial Site Development | Design-Build
If you're a Civil Project Manager who's tired of being one small cog in a large organization, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We're representing an established design-build contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex commercial and site development projects throughout Long Island and the NY Metro area.
This isn't a role where you'll simply administer projects from behind a desk. You'll play a key role in delivering challenging site development projects, working alongside experienced construction and design professionals in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise genuinely influences project outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead civil/site development projects from pre-construction through completion
- Manage grading, drainage, stormwater management and underground utility scopes
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors and regulatory agencies
- Review civil drawings and specifications while ensuring constructability
- Manage project budgets, schedules and overall project execution
- Support permitting, approvals and regulatory compliance
- Identify project risks and implement practical engineering solutions
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and field teams
- 7+ years' experience managing civil construction or site development projects
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and site infrastructure
- Experience delivering commercial, municipal or infrastructure projects
- Proven leadership managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licence is highly preferred but not essential
