The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5-8 years experience in retail design and construction within luxury environments. You will have extensive industry knowledge to oversee architecture, MEP, structural design, building codes, permitting, accessibility requirements and sustainability in retail construction. You will have the ability to review, analyze, and negotiate project costs for design professionals, general contractors, mill workers and façade contractors.
You will have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with excellent ability to prioritize, follow-through and multi-task while managing multiple, complex projects. The ideal candidate will be fluent in AutoCAD and relevant design software (Adobe Photo Shop, Bluebeam, Indesign). Microsoft Office Software proficiency mandatory. You will have the ability to travel on location at least 30% of the time.
The Senior Manager will manage and oversee the construction of new boutiques, major renovations of existing boutiques and other brand facilities in the Americas (USA, Canada, Lat Am). The Senior Manager will report directly to the Director of Construction - Store Planning and will be based in New York.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of documentation and construction and lead timely closeout of projects. Liaise with HQ partners in Europe to translate design intent into the documentation and construction phases of a project.
- Manage external architects, contractors, vendors and internal brand partners to effectively implement and reinforce brand design and ensure quality standards.
- Track all project deadlines, budgets, deliverables through appropriate budget tools. Prepare periodical budget and cash flow forecasts.
- Work in partnership with Procurement team to source and validate appropriate vendors, negotiate pricing and meet spending targets.
- Perform periodic site visits to inspect progress of construction and provide smooth transition to retail staff upon opening, including support during boutique openings.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000 (Annual)
This role is bonus eligible.
