Assistant Project Manager – General Contractor

We’re hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Track project progress, costs, and documentation to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Assist with contract administration, permit tracking, and project closeout documentation.
• Monitor project quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate project records using construction management software.
• Support field operations and perform site visits as needed.

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or as an Assistant Project Manager with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, sequencing, and project documentation.

• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project scheduling.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Pay Range:$80,000-$110,000

Commensurate with experience.
