Concrete Foreman ​/ Field Superintendent

MDC Contractors Corp is looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman / Field Superintendent for concrete, sidewalk, curb, asphalt, and site work projects.

We need someone who can be in the field, run the crew, read drawings, check elevations, and make sure the work is installed correctly.

• Run concrete crews in the field
• Shoot and verify elevations
• Set grades and slopes properly
• Set granite curb and concrete curb
• Lay out sidewalks, ramps, curbs, and roadway work
• Understand ADA slopes and proper drainage
• Read drawings and follow project details
• Coordinate with the office, GC, inspectors, and field workers
• Track material needs and daily progress
• Make sure work is done clean, safe, and correctly
• Identify field issues before they become problems

• Strong experience in concrete/site work
• Ability to shoot elevations with a laser/transit
• Knowledge of sidewalk grades, curb lines, ADA ramps, and drainage
• Experience setting granite curb is a big plus
• Ability to manage workers and keep production moving
• Must be reliable and show up on time
• Must be able to communicate clearly with the office and GC
• NYC construction experience preferred

Concrete, sidewalks, curbs, granite curb, asphalt, BPP work, ADA ramps, excavation, and site work.

NYC / Five Boroughs

Mostly Manhattan and Brooklyn

Based on experience.
