Assistant Project Manager

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets with the senior project manager.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, technicians, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, financial reports, progress reports, status updates, and project documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
• Contribute to risk assessment, mitigation plans, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Establish communication channels and communicate project status, changes, and risks.
• Facilitate meetings, agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
• Support quality assurance processes and compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Address project non-conformities and customer complaints with the senior project manager.
• Coordinate and allocate labor, materials, and equipment; monitor resource utilization.
• Promote site safety, identify and mitigate hazards, and follow safety procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Familiarity with project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
