Heavy Equipment Operator (Telehandler / Lull Forklift)
We're looking for an experienced Telehandler (Lull Forklift) Operator to support a large commercial construction project. In this role, you'll safely move and place materials throughout the job site, helping crews stay productive while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

What You'll DoOperate telehandlers/lull forklifts to move, lift, and position construction materials.
Deliver materials to upper floors, rooftops, and active work areas.
Load and unload delivery trucks to keep materials moving efficiently.
Perform daily equipment inspections and complete equipment logs.
Follow OSHA regulations and all site safety requirements.
Communicate with signal persons, riggers, supervisors, and trade partners during lifts.
Monitor load weights, stability, and placement to ensure safe operation.
Stay alert to site hazards, including power lines, uneven terrain, and pedestrian traffic.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, incidents, or near misses immediately.
Assist with material handling, site housekeeping, and other general labor tasks when equipment operation is not needed.
What We're Looking For- Experience operating a telehandler, lull forklift, or off-road forklift on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of load capacities, load charts, and safe lifting practices.
- Ability to work safely in a busy commercial construction environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site procedures.
- Ability to follow lift plans, site instructions, and supervisor direction.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to assist with general site responsibilities as needed.
- OSHA 10 Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Equipment operator certification preferred.
- Experience working on commercial, civil, industrial, roofing, landscaping, or building projects.
- Familiarity operating equipment on uneven terrain and in changing weather conditions.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Pattersonville, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
