Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Location: New York
LOZIER, Inc. seeks to hire a Chief Inspector (Construction Inspection) for a full-time, on-site role on a major NYSDOT project in Westchester County, NY
. This role oversees and coordinates daily construction inspection activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Review and maintain daily inspection reports, project records, quantities, measurements, and other documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to address construction, quality, schedule, and field issues.
- Monitor materials, workmanship, testing, and construction methods.
- Support payment quantities, change orders, field changes, and project documentation.
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Support project closeout, punch-list activities, and final documentation.
Qualifications
- Must be familiar with transportation projects (construction or rehabilitation of highways, bridges or railroad) with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, or similar agency requirements
- NICET- IV or equivalent
- Knowledge of AASHTOWare
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting, issue escalation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field

Salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
