Key Functions:- Responsibleforoverseeingthedailyeffortsofallprojectactivitiesandpersonnel.
- Superviseallworkactivityoftheproject,includingallsubcontractorwork.
- Responsibleforthequalityofworkanddevelopmentoftheir Project Team ,includingbutnotlimitedtothe
Project
Engineer,Cost Engineer,andprojectsupportstaff. - Monitorprojectscopeforchangesaffectingbudgetand/or schedule;identifies cause,advise client,andnegotiateschangeordersasappropriate.
- Identifyimpactstoscheduleandmonitorcost.
- Forecastandtracktheamountoflabor,managerialandmaterialcostsnecessarytocompleteaproject.
- Responsibleforproperreportingofprofitandlossofassignedprojectsasthejobprogresses.
Musthaveadetailedandcomprehensiveunderstandingofprojectjobcostingtosupportmonthlyclosingmeetings. - Reviewrevenueprojectionsandaccrualsforaccuracy.
Adjustasneeded. - Providegoodcommunicationwithownerrepresentativetoensureagoodworkingenvironment.
- Coordinatewiththeprojectteamtodetermineneededresources(manpower,material,equipment,subcontractors,permits,etc.)throughoutthelifeoftheprojectwithattentiontobudgetarylimitations.
- Planallconstructionoperationsandscheduleintermediatephasestoensuredeadlinesaremet.
- Understandtheprojectscope,specificationsandidentifychangesastheycome.
Communicatetotheprojectteamtomakesureeachchangeisproperlydocumented.
Qualifications:
- 10+yearsofrelevantexperience,withexperienceworkingonheavycivilconstructionprojects,bridgesaplus.
- ExperiencewithNYCandStatepublicagenciesaplus.
- Bachelor'sdegreeincivilengineeringpreferred.
- Proficientintheuseof Procore,P6,HCSS,and Microsoft
Office. - Effectivecommunicationskills,interpersonalandorganizationalskills,andastrongworkethic.
Thecompensationrangeforthisroleis
190-230k.
