Founded in the late 1980s, we are a New York City based general contractor with roughly 150 employees, including project managers, superintendents, estimators, and field personnel operating across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. As a company, we deliver ground-up construction, interior renovations, structural upgrades, and complex buildouts for commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, and institutional clients. At our NYC office and project sites, we focus on estimating, budgeting, bidding, and cost analysis for interior buildouts, structural modifications, and full-scale construction projects.
We support clients across commercial real estate, hospitality groups, retail brands, educational institutions, and private development. Our Construction Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates, evaluate scopes, and support competitive bids across multiple project types.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for interior renovations, ground-up work, and structural upgrades
- Develop complete bid proposals including labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, equipment, logistics, and schedule considerations
- Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain pricing, verify scope coverage, and ensure competitive and accurate bids
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teams to support budgeting, value engineering, and project planning
- Maintain estimating databases, historical cost records, and vendor relationships to support consistent and reliable pricing
- Experience estimating commercial construction projects, preferably within New York City
- Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with interior buildouts, renovations, structural modifications, and ground-up construction
- Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and ERP/MRP systems, including Bluebeam Revu, Procore estimating tools, and advanced Excel
- Nice to have: ASPE membership, construction estimating coursework, experience with NYC subcontractor market, union trade pricing, and complex urban logistics
