We are seeking an Construction Assistant Project Manager
- Long Island, NY to support the successful delivery of high-end commercial interior construction projects throughout Long Island and the NYC metro area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established General Contractor and gain exposure to all phases of project management while working alongside experienced construction professionals. Client Details Our client is a reputable commercial General Contractor with a strong presence across Long Island and New York City.
They specialize in commercial interior fit-outs and renovations across office, healthcare, retail, and corporate environments, delivering high-quality projects for a diverse client base. Description As a Construction Assistant Project Manager
- Long Island, NY you will:
Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior projects. Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teams. Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities. Attend project meetings and provide updates on project progress. Support field operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Profile A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager
- Long Island, NY should have: 2-5 years of construction experience with a General Contractor. Commercial interior construction experience required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and project scheduling. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Job Offer Competitive base salary - up to 100k!
