Construction Superintendent
Location:
Jamacia, NY Type: 6 month Contract Compensation: $85-90/hr Per Diem: $329/day mob/demob
- Site Management:
Direct daily field activities, crews, and vendors on power generation construction sites. - Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict OSHA and company safety standards, conducting site audits and safety meetings. - Schedule & Budget Control:
Track project milestones, review construction drawings, and ensure work aligns with timelines and budgets. - Quality Assurance:
Inspect workmanship and manage deficiency corrections with contractors. - Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between field personnel, project managers, and engineers.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of heavy industrial or power plant construction supervision. - Education:
High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred. - Technical
Skills:
Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and design schematics, plus proficiency in project management software.
