- Assist Project Engineers and field leadership with day-to-day project activities
- Develop understanding of heavy highway construction means and methods
- Track project progress, production quantities, and field productivity
- Participate in daily planning meetings and project coordination
- Support jobsite logistics and field-office communication
- Assist with daily reports, project documentation, records, photographs, and tracking logs
- Support submittal, RFI, and document control processes
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Participate in field inspections and quality control activities
- Verify work is completed according to project requirements
- Support safety initiatives, jobsite compliance, safety meetings, and training
- Learn project management fundamentals, scheduling awareness, cost control, and construction planning
- Receive mentorship and progress toward a Project Engineer role
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering Technology, or a related construction or engineering field
- 0–2 years of construction-related experience
- Willingness to work in a field-based environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
