Field Engineer – Heavy Highway

• Assist Project Engineers and field leadership with day-to-day project activities
• Develop understanding of heavy highway construction means and methods
• Track project progress, production quantities, and field productivity
• Participate in daily planning meetings and project coordination
• Support jobsite logistics and field-office communication
• Assist with daily reports, project documentation, records, photographs, and tracking logs
• Support submittal, RFI, and document control processes
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Participate in field inspections and quality control activities
• Verify work is completed according to project requirements
• Support safety initiatives, jobsite compliance, safety meetings, and training
• Learn project management fundamentals, scheduling awareness, cost control, and construction planning
• Receive mentorship and progress toward a Project Engineer role

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering Technology, or a related construction or engineering field
• 0–2 years of construction-related experience
• Willingness to work in a field-based environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
