The Licensed Construction Superintendent will serve as the responsible party on record with the Department of Building and will oversee daily field operations from project mobilization through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining the construction schedule, enforcing site safety requirements, documenting daily activity, and ensuring that work proceeds in an organized, safe, and compliant manner.

• Assume responsibility as the licensed superintendent on the designated project site.
• Manage all day-to-day site operations, including coordination between trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Oversee site safety, enforce all required safety practices, and ensure subcontractors comply with company, project, and regulatory safety standards.
• Schedule, update, and maintain the construction schedule, including coordination of daily and short-term work activities.
• Maintain all daily logs and required project documentation, including site conditions, manpower, work progress, deliveries, inspections, incidents, and other relevant field activity.
• Attend project progress, coordination, and safety meetings, and provide clear updates on site status, scheduling needs, and field issues.
• Maintain daily time and attendance sheets for all employees assigned to the project site.
• Monitor work quality and progress to ensure construction is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify field issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly and communicate recommended corrective actions to project leadership.
• Maintain a professional on-site presence and serve as the primary field contact for subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and project team members.

• Candidate must be a New York City Licensed Superintendent in good standing, with 5-7 years of relevant construction supervision experience.
• Prior field supervision experience must include coordination of trades and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, site logistics, and daily field operations.
• Demonstrated understanding of jobsite safety practices and applicable safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate daily logs, attendance records, and project documentation.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on site daily and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Experience in rehabilitation of existing residential and commercial buildings.
• Familiarity with project coordination meetings, look-ahead schedules, inspection coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Procore, as well as spreadsheets, and email communication.
