Electrical Estimator
Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Onsite Salary: $100,000–$160,000 + Benefits
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing Electrical Construction team in New York.
The successful candidate will manage the estimating process from reviewing drawings and specifications through to take-offs, pricing and bid submission.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate estimates for Electrical Construction projects.
- Review Electrical drawings, specifications and bid documents.
- Complete quantity take-offs and develop labour and material costs.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify scope gaps, risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Prepare bids, proposals and project documentation.
- Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership.
- Experience as an Electrical Estimator within Electrical Construction.
- Strong understanding of Electrical systems, materials and installation methods.
- Experience completing Electrical take-offs and preparing bids.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with estimating and take-off software.
- Strong commercial and organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- $100,000–$160,000 base salary
