  • Knowledge of New York City procurement and contracting procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee multiple school construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain alignment with goals.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews to ensure construction work meets design specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, including progress updates and risk assessments.
Skills:

The required skills enable the candidate to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and budgetary constraints. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, city officials, and community members, ensuring transparency and collaboration. Proficiency in project management software facilitates efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
