Restoration Estimator

• Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with detailed cost estimates.
• Develop scopes of work for restoration projects.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Assist with labor, material, equipment, and access-related pricing.
• Support bid preparation, clarifications, exclusions, and final submissions.
• Assist with change orders and revised project scopes.
• Participate in site walks and pre-bid meetings.
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, consultants, and vendors.
• Maintain organized estimating files and project documentation.

• 1–2+ years of construction estimating or related preconstruction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience performing takeoffs and developing project pricing.

Exposure to any of the following is highly relevant:

• Masonry
• Waterproofing
• Roofing
• Concrete repair
• Building envelope
• Commercial renovation
• Demolition
• Experience with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, or similar software preferred
• Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Local Law 11 / FISP
• Experience with scaffolding, sidewalk sheds, rigging, or exterior access.
• Knowledge of existing-condition and occupied-building projects.
• NYC construction experience is preferred.
