Project Manager – Large-Scale Warehouse / Cold Storage Construction

A growing New York-based General Contractor / Construction Manager — known for delivering technically challenging commercial, hospitality and residential projects with in-house fabrication and self-perform capabilities — is expanding into industrial and cold storage construction, and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to lead the way.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape a company's move into a new sector, taking ownership of a technically demanding project from preconstruction through completion.

• Managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Leading project planning, scheduling, procurement and execution
• Managing budgets, cost control, forecasting and change orders
• Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, vendors and field teams
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Leading constructability reviews and resolving coordination issues
• Managing RFIs, submittals, payment applications and documentation
• Developing and maintaining project and procurement schedules
• Coordinating complex MEP, refrigeration, structural and architectural scopes
• Identifying and managing project risks before they become issues
• Leading project meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
• Overseeing punch list, commissioning, turnover, warranties and closeout

• 5+ years of construction Project Management experience
• Strong experience delivering large-scale warehouse, distribution, industrial or logistics projects
• Cold storage / refrigerated / temperature-controlled facility experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle
• Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control and subcontractor management
• Comfortable coordinating complex MEP and refrigeration scopes
• Strong contract administration and documentation skills
• Confident working directly with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
