Senior Scheduler

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing infrastructure organization seeking a Schedule Management Lead to build and own the planning and scheduling function supporting a portfolio of hyperscale data center developments.

This is a hands-on project controls opportunity for someone who has personally supported the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects and is ready to take the next step into functional ownership.

Rather than inheriting an established scheduling organization, this individual will help build the methodology, standards, processes, data, and tooling behind the scheduling function from the ground up. The Schedule Management Lead will maintain visibility from early-stage development and preconstruction through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover while coordinating schedules across contractors, consultants, vendors, engineering teams, utilities, and internal stakeholders.

• Build and own the centralized scheduling function across a portfolio of hyperscale data center projects
• Establish scheduling standards, processes, procedures, templates, governance, and reporting practices
• Develop concept and feasibility schedules for new sites, including design, permitting, utility interconnection, power energization, construction, commissioning, and ready-for-service milestones
• Build, integrate, and manage master schedules across contractors, vendors, A&E partners, utilities, procurement, and long-lead equipment
• Analyze critical path, float, milestone movement, schedule risk, sequencing, and recovery opportunities
• Validate contractor-reported progress and hold external partners accountable for scheduling commitments
• Support schedule risk analysis, delay evaluation, time-impact analysis, and change management
• Develop portfolio-level reporting, historical schedule benchmarks, and repeatable scheduling methodologies
• Partner with development, construction, engineering, procurement, finance, and executive leadership on project and portfolio planning
• Help build the scheduling organization as the portfolio continues to scale

• Approximately 8-12+ years of construction scheduling and/or project controls experience on large, complex capital projects
• Direct hyperscale or large-scale data center construction experience
• Demonstrated hands-on responsibility for building and managing project schedules—not solely reporting, consolidating, or updating schedules developed by others
• Strong understanding of the data center construction lifecycle, including design, procurement, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, utility/power sequencing, construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, critical path, float, baseline management, schedule logic, progress measurement, and schedule recovery
• Experience coordinating schedules across general contractors, trade partners, vendors, engineering organizations, and other project stakeholders
• Primavera P6 experience strongly preferred
• Ability to move between detailed project-level scheduling and broader program/portfolio-level planning
• Experience developing or improving scheduling processes, procedures, standards, or governance is highly valued
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred

Location: New York, NY 10004

Schedule: Hybrid, minimum three days per week onsite

Travel: Periodic project-site and partner travel, approximately 25% depending on project phase
