We are seeking a driven, creative and detail-oriented Experiences Manager with a genuine passion for events to join our dynamic, global Communications agency as an integral member of the Creative Services team. This role will collaborate with internal account and creative teams while overseeing external event production agencies and partners, responsible for execution. Our events range from curated high-end experiences for media and influencers to consumer-facing public events, catering to a diverse portfolio of clients in home, lifestyle, fashion, food + beverage, and tech industries.

The Experiences Manager will ensure the seamless communication between the teams, and flawless execution of the established creative concept.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Experiences Director to develop creative event concepts tailored to client goals and objectives.
  • Work in tandem with the Project Manager and Production Coordinator to define event briefs, timelines, contracts and budgets to guide internal teams and external production partners.
External Agency Oversight
  • Manage relationships with external production partners, ensuring alignment with Hunter briefs, event objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide clear guidance, feedback, and approvals throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Oversee key milestones, including venue selection, design concepts, vendor coordination, and run-of-show plans, as handled in collaboration with external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, creative direction, and quality standards at all stages of event production.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • In support of the Director of Experiences, serve as the secondary point of contact for clients throughout the planning and execution phases, maintaining transparent and proactive communication.
  • Liaise between clients, internal teams, and external production partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Represent the agency in client and vendor meetings, when needed, and be prepared to confidently address questions and proactively manage expectations.
Event Production
  • Spearhead site survey visits with relevant teams and partners to kick off event design and production.
  • Work in tandem with Director of Experiences to be the Onsite Experiences lead for live events, as needed.
  • Be the levelheaded go-to, onsite problem solver and solution finder.
Post-Event Analysis
  • Collaborate with external partners to collect event metrics and attendee feedback.
  • Compile and present post-event reports in collaboration with internal team, highlighting successes and areas for future improvement.
  • Host event debrief with all teams to establish best practices for future event strategies and processes, always including.
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Inspire, motivate and educate junior team members through positivity and passion for the role and agency.
  • Follow existing processes and ensure consistency, providing feedback to the team with an attitude of excellence.
  • Work with team leadership to run direct report check-ins, progress meetings and engage actively in their education and development.
General
  • Maintain a strong awareness of current pop culture and emerging cultural trends.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted expert for venues in New York City and other major markets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within an agency or events environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in the events industry with brands in lifestyle, fashion, food, home, or tech industries.
  • Proven ability to develop event strategies and oversee external production partners.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
