Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support the design and development of our men’s sleepwear and intimates collections. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in men’s apparel, a solid foundation in design, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced fashion environment. The Assistant Designer will work closely with the Senior Designer and cross-functional teams to help bring seasonal concepts to life from initial ideation through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of men’s sleepwear and intimates collections across multiple seasons
• Create and update technical sketches, flats, and CADs
• Support fabric, trim, color, and print selection aligned with brand aesthetic and seasonal direction
• Prepare and maintain design boards, line sheets, and presentation materials
• Assist with tech pack creation and updates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Track samples, review fit comments, and assist with fittings
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to support development timelines
• Conduct trend, market, and competitive research relevant to men’s sleepwear and intimates
• Organize and maintain design archives, fabric libraries, and sample closets
• Provide general administrative and creative support to the design team as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 1–2 years of design experience (internships count), preferably in men’s apparel, sleepwear, or intimates
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fit
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of PLM systems is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for men’s fashion, with an eye for detail and trends

Salary Disclosure:

Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. While the posted salary range is $55,000 – $65,000, we recognize the value of exceptional talent and are open to negotiation for the right candidate.
