Job Title:

Sr Designer – Cold Weather & Fashion Accessories

Location:

5 days onsite at our NYC HQ

American Exchange Group is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Sr Designer to join our growing Cold Weather & Fashion Accessories team. This newly created position will work on existing business as well as new licenses coming on board. You’ll report to the President, Handbags & Fashion Accessories and work closely with Production, Packaging, and Merchandising to support the design and development of innovative cold weather and fashion accessories.

• Create seasonal mood and trend boards
• Develop accurate artwork, repeats, and specs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design
• Prepare design files for sampling and production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product execution matches design intent
• Support product revisions, costing updates, and presentation materials
• Stay on top of timelines, trends, and technical innovations in textiles
• Contribute ideas and assist wherever needed throughout the design process

• Bachelor s degree in Accessories Design, Fashion Design, or related field
• 5+ years of design experience in fashion/apparel or accessories
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Detail-driven with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow

Salary:
The anticipated base salary is $90k - $130k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
