Bloomberg Media is looking for an individual with a proactive attitude who is focused, flexible, and proficient in several aspects of broadcast operations, and who can work collaboratively in a live control room and studio environment on our overnight team. This individual will be expected to provide coverage in A2 and sliding commercial break operator capacities to work collaboratively in control room and live studio environments.

They will be required to work with on-air talent, engineering, and editorial teams, as well as their global counterparts to ensure a quality visual production on our overnight team.

We'll trust you to:

• Operate the sliding break PC during live production
• Ensure the sliding PC is in working condition before on-air programming
• Knowledge of Audio signal flow concepts, dynamic processing, equalizers, microphones and IFBs required (Lectrosonics)
• Assign each anchor and guest a microphone and IFB
• Monitor battery levels and troubleshoot for any issues, maintain show memories, RTS pages and show music
• Dress mics/IFBs to anchors and guests on-air for upcoming programming
• Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment
• Collaborate with the technical operations team and editorial personnel
• Understand the flow and composition of a live news broadcast
• Communicate with Operations Team Leads on issues that will impact the team and broadcasts

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience working in a live TV environment
• Familiarity with the dynamics of a live studio environment
• Willingness to work a 2am-10am shift 40 hours a week
• Ability to work in highly distracting settings and under considerable pressure
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills

Salary Range = 30 - 35 USD Hourly

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
