Our client a well known University is seeking an Event Coordinator in their New York, New York Location!
OverviewThis position is Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.
-5 p.m. with the expectation that hours will need to be flexible to staff events in the evenings and occasionally on the weekends.
- Plan and execute Institute of Global Politics events by building out project timeline(s) and managing the work to ensure deadlines are being met.
- Manage and execute event logistics, including scheduling, invitations and RSVPs, promotion, AV, live streaming, photography, video, signage, facilities setup, staffing, and catering.
- Manage inventory and ordering of event supplies
- Arrange for speaker travel.
- Manage and track event budgets and expenses.
- Manage day of execution of events by ensuring staffing needs are met and by being point of contact on day of events.
