Video Technician

Located within The New York Times corporate headquarters in New York City, The Times Center is a world‑class, state‑of‑the‑art special events venue hosting over 200 corporate and arts events annually, including New York Times specific events.

Times Center Video Technicians are responsible for the technical execution of events in the venue.

• Fill‑in as needed as one (or more) of the following:
  Video Engineer, PTZ Camera Operator, Livestream Engineer, General Video Support
• Operate Booth Equipment Including (but not limited to):
  Blackmagic ATEM, Barco Event Master Series, Panasonic PTZ Cameras, vMix, Signal Routing
• Move equipment and items throughout the venue when needed
• Assist cross‑departmentally with Load‑In, Set Up, and Load‑Out
• Maintain cleanliness of storage and production areas.

• 2‑5 years experience in a broadcast/streaming production, theatrical production and/or corporate event environment.
• You are a flexible team player.
• You are punctual, and ready to approach work as presented with a good attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

All Times Center Technicians are casual employees and members of The News Guild of New York. They report to Department Leads and the Supervising Production Manager. The rate for this role is $38/hr.
