Product Designer

New York, NY (Hybrid role with 2 days a week onsite)

Type: 06 plus months contract with extension.

We are seeking a product designer to work across a suite of business-critical applications, helping set a new elevated standard for user experience and visual design. This role will work closely with various teams across business units in the end-to-end product process, designing the UX and UI of the products themselves while parallel pathing the evolution of a design system that will create consistency and brand equity across the suite, as well as downstream product design efficiencies.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in systems-based product thinking and design, and will have worked within the product agency, technology, data, or media industries.

Looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to help craft intuitive and visually compelling interfaces for our mobile and web applications.

• Create and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize user interfaces and interactions.
• Design user flows, journey maps, and scenarios to guide the development of intuitive user experiences.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to implement and refine design concepts.
• Ensure a clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing design style that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Conduct and analyze user testing to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
• Clearly present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively apply them to your work.

• Experience: 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web application design.
• Design Systems: Proven experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
• Figma Expertise: 3+ years of expert-level proficiency in Figma, including nested components, auto layout, and design libraries.
• Prototyping & Wire framing: Skilled in building wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Clean Design Aesthetic: A keen eye for clean, minimalist, and user-centric design.
• Creativity: Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to think outside the box to solve design challenges.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design, ensuring pixel-perfect layouts and consistent design language.

• Experience with usability testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

• Experience designing enterprise, SaaS, and/or AI-focused products.
• Familiarity with Salesforce's Lightning Design System.
• UX or copywriting skills that can enhance designs.
