Brand & Creative Services – Graphic Designer Role SummaryWe are seeking a Graphic Designer with a strong eye for design, a passion for brand, and expertise in motion—someone eager to be hands‑on and support the execution of New York Life’s evolving visual identity. This role focuses on producing high‑quality, brand‑aligned creative across channels while supporting the broader brand and creative team.
Reporting to the Creative Design Director, you’ll collaborate closely with senior designers, marketing partners, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to help bring campaigns and brand initiatives to life across digital, print, social, motion, and internal channels.

- Able to translate creative briefs and foundational information into clear, on‑brand design solutions across formats.

- Design and production of creative assets for integrated campaigns across digital, print, social, presentations, infographics, and motion graphics.
- Execute brand‑aligned layouts, visual systems, and animations based on creative direction and established guidelines.
- Translate complex insurance and financial information into clear, visually compelling content that supports campaign messaging across multiple communication channels.
- Apply New York Life’s brand guidelines consistently across all deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of templates, system elements, and scalable brand assets.
- Help ensure visual consistency and quality across marketing and internal communications.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and business partners to support creative projects.
- Take direction from senior team members while offering thoughtful input and creative ideas.
- Participate in reviews and discussions, learning to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Maintain organized files and workflows to support efficient production, versioning, and approvals.
- Support asset management by organizing, maintaining, and updating creative files and shared libraries to ensure accessibility and consistency across the team.
- Strong design fundamentals and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of brand systems and visual consistency.
- Experience designing for print, digital, social, and motion.
- Experience in motion graphics and video editing.
- Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and iteration.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional design experience—preferably within financial services, insurance, a professional services organization, or other corporate environments.
- Strong proficiency in design tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and Figma.
- Experience with motion graphics and/or video editing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Ceros.
- Basic understanding of web design and UI/UX principles is a plus.
- Curiosity for design trends and a desire to continue developing skills.

Salary Range: $81,000 - $115,500
