Overview
Bloomberg Media is looking for an individual with a proactive attitude who is focused, flexible, and proficient in several aspects of broadcast operations, and who can work collaboratively in a live control room and studio environment in a floor manager & A2 capacity. They will be required to work with on-air talent, engineering, and editorial teams to ensure high-quality visual production on an early morning weekend (part-time) basis.
Responsibilities- Participate in pre-show meetings with editorial and technical teams to align show vision.
- Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
- Collaborate with the technical team and editorial personnel to ensure a quality audio & visual presentation for our audience.
- Stage manage shows involving high profile guests and multiple anchors for a 3-hour production.
- Dress wireless and wired microphones and IFB earpieces.
- Monitor battery levels and troubleshoot in real time.
- Read, follow, and execute all relevant tasks outlined in a live news broadcast rundown (ENPS experience preferred but not required)
- Communicate with Team Leads to report on issues and faults that will impact global counterparts.
- Be able to assist in the lifting of set pieces up to 50 lbs.
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years of experience working in a live TV environment
- Experience with studio stage management in a multi-camera space
- Experience with A2 audio preparation and dressing of microphones and IFB earpieces
- Ability to follow a live rundown and ability to adapt to adjustments in real time
- Strong organizational + communication skills & attention to detail
- Early morning weekend availability is required.

Salary Range = 45- 50 USDHourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
