Social Media Manager & Content Creator

We’re seeking a NYC‑based Social Media Manager with proven experience working with music artists to lead Instagram and Tik Tok strategy for an emerging artist.

This role requires both day‑to‑day oversight and occasional in‑person content capture in New York City (and/or northern NJ).

• Develop and execute Instagram + Tik Tok content strategy aligned with music releases
• Create and edit short‑form video concepts
• Film content on‑site 1x per month in NYC
• Manage posting, captions, community engagement (posting 2‑3x a week)

• Direct experience managing social for music artists
• Strong understanding of music release rollouts and fan‑building
• Proven short‑form video performance results
• Comfortable filming with iPhone or DSLR
• NYC‑based and available for occasional in‑person shoots
• Highly organized and proactive communicator

Understands how to build narrative around singles, not just post content. Has a pulse on Tik Tok trends but knows how to adapt them to an artist’s identity.

Compensation:
