Role Overview:
We're looking for a hybrid Audio Engineer / On-Screen Host who loves both sound and storytelling. You'll assist in recording, mixing, and capturing tones, while also serving as a friendly, knowledgeable host for our educational and feature videos. The ideal candidate is comfortable both behind the console and in front of the camera, with a natural curiosity for guitar tone, music tech, and a deep knowledge of the history of recorded music and live sound.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as on-screen host for tutorials, demos, artist interviews, and more.
- Assist in capturing NAM and IR models using studio recording gear.
- Collaborate with the creative team on video concepts.
- Help maintain consistent visual and sonic identity across content.
Requirements:
- Must be a genuine tone junkie who loves talking about amps, pedals, and outboard gear.
- Working knowledge of audio engineering.
- Must be a good guitar player.
- Must be comfortable in front of the camera.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience using Neural Amp Modeling (NAM) or TONE
3000. - Have experience doing gear reviews.
- Have prior experience interviewing artists about their rigs, tone, and recording process.
