Culture Con is the leading destination for creative dreamers, doers, and leaders. Through our tentpole conference, year-round programming, and vibrant community, we create and hold space for creative professionals to gather, grow, and push culture toward.
We’re entering an ambitious new chapter and we’re looking for a Content Manager who wants to help define it.
The RoleWe’re hiring a Content Manager (~35 hours/week) to drive day-to-day social storytelling across Instagram, Threads, Tik Tok, and Linked In — with a strong emphasis on video-first content.
This person will work closely with the Creative Editorial Director as a right-hand partner across content strategy and execution, helping shape how Culture Con shows up online in real time.
This role is equal parts:
- Editorial thinker
- Cultural observer
- Short-form video editor
- On-the-ground content capture lead

What You’ll Do- Drive daily management of Instagram, Threads, Tik Tok, and Linked In
- Develop and execute platform-specific video-first storytelling strategies
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content (Cap Cut, Edits, etc.)
- Capture live content during tentpole events and community gatherings
- Identify real-time cultural moments and translate them into social storytelling
Source, remix, and elevate UGC across platforms - Draft engaging, brand-aligned social copy
- Support light graphic design needs in Canva or Figma
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, creative, and community teams
- Assist with comment and DM monitoring in partnership with our Community Associate
- Align weekly with the Creative Editorial Director on priorities and performance
- 3+ years experience in social media within the entertainment, events, or publishing industry
- Deeply fluent in short-form video culture
- Obsessed with storytelling and audience psychology
- Proactive (you don’t wait to be told what to capture)
- Comfortable being on-camera when needed
- Fast but thoughtful
- Collaborative and communicative
- Aligned with Culture Con’s commitment to centering BIPOC creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs
- Have captured live event content before
- Have experience building editorial franchises (not just one-off posts)
- Think in systems and not just single pieces of content
- Care about shaping narrative and not just growing metrics (although those are important, too)
