is seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator to support the next evolution of our social‑first brand storytelling. This hands‑on, highly creative role focuses on concepting, producing and editing polished, socially relevant short‑form content for Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube Shorts—blending original ideas and balancing planned creative with on‑the‑fly, founder‑led moments. A key part of this role is working closely with brand founder Violette Serrat, taking initiative to capture and edit opportunistic content in real time, while also assisting in more intentionally planned founder shoots.
The ideal candidate can develop a deep understanding of the brand aesthetic, while still adapting trends with intention, and excels at on‑set execution and creative collaboration, working closely with Social, Creative, and Marketing teams to deliver on‑brand content aligned with broader storytelling initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Social-First Content Creation & Platform Fluency
- Concept, capture, and edit short‑form social content across Reels, Tik Tok, lo‑fi video, product demos, tutorials, and behind‑the‑scenes moments
- Create content that feels native to each platform while maintaining ’s elevated brand codes
- Identify trends, cultural moments, and emerging formats—then adapt them through a brand‑appropriate lens
- Propose and test new content types, formats, and storytelling frameworks
- Founder Content Capture
- Taking initiative to capture and edit opportunistic content with brand founder, Violette Serrat
- Work closely with the brand founder, Social and Marketing Team to plan out future content to be created across social/digital channels
- Creative Direction & Visual Storytelling
- Bring strong aesthetic instincts and an eye for composition, lighting, framing, and pacing
- Uphold visual and tonal consistency across all social outputs while allowing room for experimentation
- Support light art direction on social shoots to ensure content aligns with platform best practices
- Shoot Production & On-Set Direction
- Assist with pre‑production planning, including shot lists, prop needs, and capture plans
- Capture social‑first content during larger brand shoots, events, and launches
- Support on‑set social direction to maximize usable assets across platforms
- Manage content capture workflows to ensure smooth handoff to editing, scheduling, and publishing
- Collaboration & Creative Operations
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, and Community teams to support storytelling needs
- Organize, label, and archive content for future use across platforms
- Maintain awareness of performance insights to inform creative iterations
- 2–4+ years of experience creating social‑first content for a brand, creator, or agency (beauty, fashion, or lifestyle strongly preferred)
- Deep understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube Shorts—formats, trends, algorithms, and best practices
- Strong hands‑on production skills: shooting and editing on mobile (iPhone‑first) and/or lightweight camera setups
- Proficiency with editing tools such as Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Google Workspace, and/or Keynote
- Self‑starter with strong time management and organizational skills
- Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and adaptable in fast‑paced environments
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving priorities and platforms
- On‑camera confidence and storytelling presence
- Experience and/or comfort working alongside a founder or creative director
- Basic understanding of social performance metrics and optimization
