Deal Book is looking for a wide-ranging Wall Street and deals reporter with deep sourcing, who can effortlessly connect with influential insiders and deliver scoops on major deals, powerful personalities, and financial trends.

You are a relentless newshound, adept at cultivating relationships that could include anyone from top executives to junior employees — including investment bankers, asset managers and traders. You have a track record of breaking stories and the confidence to get anyone—from CEOs to policymakers—on the phone at a moment's notice. You are a dynamo with a high-speed news metabolism who wants to write daily.

We want a storyteller who can go beyond the headlines, explaining financial maneuvers and market dynamics in clear, compelling prose. We are looking for curiosity, tenacity, discretion, and exceptional judgment, with a passion for revealing the personalities and strategies shaping Wall Street.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office/studio each week per your departmental guidance.
