Senior Writer

A leading public relations and strategic communications firm is seeking a highly motivated Senior Writer to join their New York office. You’ll love this job if you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, creative environment.

• Support on new business efforts: Including drafting proposals, conducting research, responding to RFPs and RFIs, and participating on calls/presentations.
• Work with client teams on op-eds, bylines, and blogs: For publication in top-tier media (WSJ, FT) and online platforms.
• Advise on client-owned content platforms.
• Create all Company Materials: Ensure brand voice consistency and narrative excellence across all touchpoints.
• Spearhead CEO’s external communications: Including talking points, blogposts, commentary, and speeches, as needed.
• Produce issue-specific research: Work with the team to produce research documents and participate on Client Audits and Evaluations.

• 3+ years of professional experience at a public relations agency or as part of an in-house communications team; finance, tech, and/or corporate B2B experience a plus.
• Previous journalism experience a plus.
• Comfortable dealing with both Executive Level and Account Team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-starter: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and driving multiple projects across the finish line at once.
• Exceptional attention to detail
