We specialize in creative strategy, partnership development, talent cultivation, and end-to-end production that transforms concepts into meaningful experiences.

Our approach centers on cultural relevance and authentic collaboration, working closely with clients to push creative boundaries and deliver events and campaigns that resonate deeply with audiences. From initial idea to final execution, we craft experiences that create lasting connections and drive meaningful brand impact.

Job Summary:

The Producer for Experiential at Starkman & Associates is a passionate, solutions-oriented team player who can lead experiential projects and teams from initial bid to final execution across local and global markets. This senior role will focus on bringing a wide range of brand experiences to life, from immersive pop-ups and intimate dinners to multi-tiered event campaigns and strategic brand activations.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of experiential production and a robust network of vendors, fabricators, and crew. You’ll collaborate closely with internal creative, production, and executive teams—while also managing external partners, venues, and clients.

This role is equal parts creative and logistical execution. You’ll be expected to plan, oversee, and problem-solve on everything from permitting and fabrication to run-of-show, staffing, and installation—all while ensuring each experience reflects Starkman & Associates high standards and our clients’ brand worlds.

You’ll report to the Managing Director and help shape agency-process, mentor Production Managers, and contribute to a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration. This is a high-visibility role working with some of the most exciting names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:

  • Lead end-to-end experiential production from concept through execution, across local and global markets
  • Oversee a wide range of activations including pop-ups, product and campaign launches, fashion presentations, influencer trips, brand dinners etc.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, run-of-show, vendor communication, permitting, and all on-site execution
  • Maintain an organized system for administrative duties - bids, invoicing, outreach, equipment, and third party vendor management.
  • Troubleshoot challenges quickly and calmly—on-site and in pre-production

Venue and Vendor Management:

  • Secure, vet, negotiate and manage talent, crew, locations, etc.
  • Vet and manage external vendors, venues, and freelance crew with attention to detail and quality
  • Manage a continuously evolving roster of vendors and partners, staying aware of rates, availability, serviced markets etc.

Creative Strategy:

  • Translate client briefs and cultural insights into strategic, elevated concepts
  • Build clear, persuasive and visually-driven pitch decks that map ideas into definable experiences
  • Convert concept decks into PPMS that give form and substance to creative ideas, making the vision accessible and actionable
  • Work with specialty vendors to ideate and design custom elements and merch
  • Stay on top of industry trends, cultural conversations, relevant brands/vendors, and emerging talent across the food, entertainment and service industries

Client Management:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout project life cycles
  • Support new business efforts by contributing scopes, timelines, and production strategy for pitches
  • Uphold the agency’s creative and operational standards at every stage of production
  • Utilize discretionary thinking and tone when flagging risks, overages and challenges, looping in the executive team when necessary

Team Management:

  • Lead Production Managers, Production Coordinators, Production Assistants, and Art Directors to translate briefs into executable experiential plans
  • Grow team, revenue and content standards.
  • Support the executive team with recruitment and hiring, vetting potential candidates gauging fit for roles

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-7 years experience in events and experiential activations - agency side a bonus
  • Proven track record working and collaborating with architects, fabricators, and designers to create small to large scale installations
  • Familiarity with NYC and Los Angeles permitting and labor laws
  • Experience developing scopes of work and project plans for project budgets over $500,000+
  • Client-facing communication skills; ability to communicate with confidence and positivity, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience managing a team of 3+
  • Ability to travel
