Position: Digital Coordinator, The View
Location: New York

The Digital Coordinator plays a critical role in executing and managing the day‑to‑day digital operations for The View. This position is responsible for the hands‑on publishing, optimization, and monetization of content across You Tube, podcasts, affiliate commerce, web, and social platforms. The role requires strong editorial judgment, technical execution skills, and the ability to manage multiple daily deadlines in a fast‑paced television and entertainment environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for a digital professional with experience in social media or digital content management who has a strong interest in TV production, entertainment, and audience growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • You Tube Channel Management
    • Own the day‑to‑day management of The View’s You Tube channel, including uploading, packaging, and optimizing short‑ and long‑form video content.
    • Create SEO‑friendly headlines, thumbnails, and descriptions to drive viewership, engagement, and revenue.
    • Monitor performance and adjust content presentation based on audience insights and analytics.
  • Podcast Distribution
    • Manage the daily rollout of all podcast content, including the audio version of The View and the original daily podcast series, Behind the Table.
    • Package and publish episodes using SEO‑forward titles and descriptions to maximize discoverability and listenership.
    • Create social content from each episode to extend reach and drive engagement.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Manage day‑to‑day updates and publishing for The View’s website, including writing metadata for video‑on‑demand platforms.
    • Build and send the daily email blast to national news, political, and lifestyle press outlets.
    • Support the digital team in the management of The View’s social media accounts by creating and coordinating content across platforms, including writing social copy and creating vertical videos.
    • Act as a backup support person for on‑set photography and podcast video production.
    • Manage the online execution of affiliate sales initiatives (books and other products featured on the show), including link creation and placement on The View’s website.
    • Compile and share regular performance reporting and analytics with show leadership to inform content and distribution decisions.
    • Assist as needed with the production of The View and The Weekend View.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 1+ years of experience in social media management, digital content coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong interest in television production, entertainment, and digital media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for basic video editing and content optimization.
  • Proficiency in Canva for creating thumbnails, social assets, and promotional graphics.
  • Working knowledge of social media publishing and management platforms (e.g., Dash Social, Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform tools, or similar).
  • Familiarity with You Tube, podcast platforms, and digital publishing workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple daily deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and editorial judgment.
  • Comfortable working closely with high‑profile talent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting digital content for a TV show, media brand, or entertainment property.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for video and podcast content.
  • Experience reviewing analytics to assess content performance.

The hiring range for this position in New York is $56,600 - 75,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
