Job SummaryThe Experiential Production Manager at Starkman & Associates is a resourceful, detail-driven team player who helps bring bold, high-impact brand experiences to life. This role supports the development and execution of a wide range of experiential activations—from intimate influencer moments and pop-ups to large-scale brand experiences and campaign events.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in live event and experiential production, with a working knowledge of permitting, fabrication, vendor management, and logistics. This role is a mix of creative execution and operational precision. You’ll manage timelines, budgets, and on-site logistics, troubleshoot in real-time, and ensure each activation meets Starkman & Associates’ production standards and reflects our clients’ brand identities.
Reporting into a Senior Producer or Director, you’ll be trusted to lead projects of your own, manage internal coordinators or freelancers, and contribute to a culture of craft, care, and collaboration. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role working across some of the most exciting names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities Project & Production Management- Lead the execution of small- to mid-sized experiential activations and assist senior producers on large-scale projects
- Build and maintain production timelines, run-of-show documents, and budget trackers
- Source and manage third-party vendors, venues, and freelance crew
- Oversee permitting, insurance, and legal compliance for each activation
- Coordinate fabrication, scenic builds, rentals, tech production, and transportation
- Support ideation with creative solutions to bring experiential concepts to life within scope
- Serve as on‑site production lead during installs, live events, and strikes
- Manage build crews, freelance staff, and vendors, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Anticipate and troubleshoot issues calmly and professionally in real time
- Ensure on‑site safety, brand consistency, and smooth execution
- Draft client communications and liaise with client counterparts
- Assist in preparing decks, estimates, and presentations
- Manage production documents including bids, invoices, contracts, and receipts
- Assist with wrap reports, post‑event recaps, and debrief meetings
- Help maintain internal tools, databases, and resource libraries
- Partner with and manage Production Coordinators, and Production Assistants responsibilities
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high‑performance team environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience in event production, project coordination, or agency operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset
- Working knowledge of G‑Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides);
Keynote a plus - Availability to work occasional nights/weekends for events
