We're looking for a Social Lead, Community & Culture to help manage and grow Tapstitch's organic social presence across Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and emerging channels.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes internet culture, understands what makes content perform, is excited by the idea of growing a community, and wants to be deeply involved in building a brand from the ground up. You won't just be posting content, you'll be helping shape what Tapstitch looks, feels, and sounds like online.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Content (day‑to‑day), as well as influencer, creative, and growth teams to concept, execute, and iterate on content that speaks directly to clothing brands, creators, and designers. From quick‑turn trend videos to structured series and product storytelling, you’ll play a key role in turning ideas into content that drives both engagement and conversion.
You’ll be the voice of Tapstitch across social channels, engaging with the community in a meaningful way. You won’t just be posting content. You’ll be helping define our voice, build a community around creators and clothing brands, and turn content into a real growth lever for the business.
This role is perfect for a digital storyteller passionate about crafting engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences and strengthens our brand identity in the fashion and tech space. This is an opportunity to be hands‑on inside a fast‑moving (and growing!) team.
ResponsibilitiesContent Planning, Editing, & Publishing
- Manage day‑to‑day posting, scheduling, and community engagement (comments, DMs, tags)
- Manage an editorial calendar that aligns with Tapstitch’s brand moments, campaigns, product launches, and content series
- Support content creation and design social creative using templates, brand‑approved graphics, and imagery in Canva, Figma, or a similar tool.
- Utilize editing tools to create content from scratch: short form videos, Stories, etc.
- Support in writing captions, hooks, and on‑screen copy aligned with Tapstitch's voice.
- Support and be on‑site for photo and video shoots (3–4x per month).
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Support in development and implementation of social growth plans to increase key social metrics and support the scaling of our evergreen content and both awareness and revenue‑driving initiatives.
- Assist in planning, launching, and managing new channels (Substack, IG subscriptions, Close Friends, community spaces, emerging platforms).
Community Engagement & Management
- Act as the voice and ears of Tapstitch across Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and emerging platforms.
- Actively manage and engage with audiences through comments, DMs, and brand mentions.
- Foster meaningful conversations to strengthen community relationships and brand loyalty.
Trend Monitoring & Creative Ideation
- Monitor channels and cultural conversations through social listening, trend monitoring, and cultural awareness to uncover creative opportunities for Tapstitch to engage in brand‑aligned ways.
- Stay on top of platform trends and quickly apply Tapstitch's brand POV to create an innovative spin, understanding which social trends are a fit and which are not.
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, audience behaviors, and engagement strategies, particularly for Tik Tok, Instagram, and You Tube.
- Use AI tools to support content creation, ideation, editing, and experimentation (including AI imagery and workflows).
- Test new tools, formats, and creative approaches to improve performance and output.
Jump into designing garments through Tapstitch for campaign and content needs periodically.
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze the performance of social channels, report on results, and uncover insights on optimization opportunities.
- Share content wins and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with influencer and UGC team to ensure content alignment and amplification and identify users/customers that we could potentially partner with.
- Work closely with Creative, Brand, Growth, Partnerships, and Paid to ensure alignment of social content with broader marketing initiatives and product accuracy.
