Overview

Paramount: A Skydance Corporation is seeking a Media Manager to join the EPPO Media Management & Archives team within Production Operations & Technology. This role is responsible for leading and executing media management workflows supporting high-volume, multi-brand production environments across Paramount’s global ecosystem. Based in New York, this position partners closely with production, editorial, and technology teams to ensure media is efficiently ingested, organized, transferred, prepared, and archived across both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day media management operations across multiple productions and facilities
  • Define and enforce standards for media ingest, organization, directory structures, and workflows
  • Oversee media preparation for editorial, including syncing, grouping, and proxy/mezzanine creation
  • Manage media transfers across internal and external environments using approved enterprise tools
  • Partner with production teams to plan workflows, storage strategies, and delivery requirements
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered metadata workflows to improve search, discoverability, and automation
  • Support live and near-live production workflows including streaming ingest and rapid-turn deliverables
  • Oversee review and approval workflows and ensure efficient collaboration across teams
  • Lead project wrap and archive processes, ensuring metadata completeness and lifecycle compliance
  • Provide guidance and escalation support for technical issues impacting media workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and scalability
  • Support on-site productions and events, including setup of DIT environments and field workflows
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in media management, post-production operations, or related roles
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in fast-paced production environments
  • Expertise in editorial workflows and media formats/codecs
  • Experience with Avid, Adobe Premiere, and/or other professional editing platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud storage platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and file transfer systems (Signiant, Aspera)
  • Experience with MAM/DAM systems and digital archive workflows
  • Working knowledge of AI-driven metadata tools and workflow automation
  • Ability to manage multiple productions and priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel and support on-site production workflows as needed
Hiring Salary Range

$64,800.00 – 90,000.00 (In New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.)
